Collaborated with Dania Khan on the speculative design of a future in which technology alleviates the burden of psychological and physiological stress through enhanced therapeutic treatments. The work below pertains to an artifact from this future.
The 7th Sense Project speculates that AI processing of physiological data—advanced enough to predict a user’s level of physiological excitement or arousal—will be decentralized from public servers and made accessible to everyday users, allowing them to program how their technology responds to these interpretations.
The advent of this technological paradigm would enhance privacy and extend the capabilities of human–computer interaction, enabling a societal shift comparable to the impact of the touch‑screen smartphone. To this end, we believe the next Apple will be the organization that disseminates this technology with the most enriched user experience.
